Strike a pose!

Has we told you in this month’s editor’s letter, we’re working on our first editorials, entirely produced by Style Behind.

All this shooting and modeling made me reflect on the importance of having a good attitude when posing for a photograph.

Some girls (whether they are professional models or not) are great on posing.

Well, that’s not quite my case.
I think I have a pretty elegant way of move and walk (thanks to my past as a ballet dancer), but when it comes to pose for a photo… I’m a complete disaster!

That’s why I’ve decided to share with you some tips I’ve collected from my infinite styling sessions.

I hope they help you looking better in your next Instagram pics and help me learn from my mistakes.

Tilt your head slightly to one side.

Don’t be afraid to smile.

Put your hands in your pockets.

Lift your chin to make your face look better.

Flex a leg, it makes them look longer.

Faking a walk is always a good idea.

If you’re wearing a skirt or a dress, cross your legs. It’s classier and more feminine.

Lean against a wall, it helps your pose look more natural.

Acquire a certain attitude.
