It’s been a long time since we published a recipe here on Style Behind.

Today, we wanted to share the simplest recipe ever for making delicious homemade cookies.
Ready? Wear your best apron and follow us in the kitchen!

Here it is.

What you need

Flour (260 gr.)
Sodium bicarbonate (1/2 teaspoon)
Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
Butter (170 gr.)
Brown sugar (220 gr.)
White sugar (100 gr.)
Vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)
Egg (1)
Egg yolk (1)
Dark chocolate chips (300 gr.)

How to

Put the butter (it has to be warm), the brown and the white sugar in a bowl and mix with an electric whisk. Add the vanilla essence, the egg and the egg yolk. Incorporate the flour with the salt and the sodium bicarbonate, then add it to the mixture of sugar and butter.
Add the dark chocolate chips and mix using a wooden spoon.
Let the mixture stand in the fridge for about 20 minutes. In the meanwhile, turn on the oven at 170°C.
Once the mixture is cool, prepare little balls and put them on the baking tray (they have to be distant).
Let them cook for approximately 15 minutes. Once your cookies will look gilded but still soft, it’s time to pull them out from the oven.

PS: You can add minced hazelnuts, pistachios or cornflakes. You can substitute the dark chocolate with white, or milk chocolate.
